Results from a back peel build over several weeks rather than appearing overnight, and they vary a lot from person to person. Many clients return every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on how their skin responds. What you do at home between visits has a large effect.
What to expect, week by week
- First few days: your back may feel tight or look slightly pink, and some flaking is normal.
- Weeks one to three: skin often looks calmer and smoother as congestion settles.
- Weeks four to eight: the clearer stretch for many people, as long as friction and sweat stay manageable.
These are general patterns, not promises. Back skin is thicker and sweatier than facial skin, and some people need a series before they see lasting change.
What shortens the benefit

The first 48 hours
Keep your back cool, clean and out of the sun. Use lukewarm showers, a gentle cleanser and soft cotton. Hold off on hard workouts, saunas and scrubs, and rinse off soon after you sweat. We will give you specific instructions at your visit, and those override this general list.
Between visits
A simple routine of gentle cleansing and the treatment products we choose with you is what keeps back breakouts from creeping back. Washing your workout clothes and sheets often, and changing out of sweaty clothes quickly, helps too.
