Get answers to common questions about Nostril Wax.
Most clients feel a quick sting or tug that fades immediately. The area is small and procedure takes seconds per nostril. We use gentle techniques, warm wax, and trained estheticians; topical numbing can be applied on request for extra comfort.
You can expect smooth results for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and individual hormones. Regular waxing often slows regrowth and yields finer hair over time. We recommend tracking results to set a schedule.
Most clients return every four to six weeks for maintenance. Personal growth patterns may vary; faster growers might need three-week intervals while slower regrowths can stretch to six weeks. We'll advise a plan after your first appointment.
Temporary redness, minor swelling, or brief irritation inside the nostril are common and resolve in a day or two. Infection is rare when performed hygienically; avoid picking, follow aftercare, and contact us if persistent pain or unusual discharge occurs.
Avoid touching or inserting objects for 24 hours, keep the area clean, and refrain from heavy exercise or swimming for a day. Apply recommended soothing balm or saline if needed. If redness or pain persists beyond 48 hours, contact us.
We screen for allergies and skin sensitivities during consultation. If you have extreme sensitivity, recent nasal surgery, skin conditions, or are on blood thinners, waxing may be inappropriate. We can recommend alternatives like careful trimming or discuss a patch test.
